Amendments in B.com syllabus of CU
New course structure and syllabi for B.Com (Hons and General) will be applicable from academic session 2017-18 via Notification No. CSR/26/17.
New structure is as follows:

3 years Boards exams are converted into 6 semesters.
-
each 100 marks paper will be divided in 80 marks semesters and 20 marks internal assessments.

Choice based Questions (MCQs) have been introduced.
-
Honors papers in each semesters are 1+1+2+2+2+1. Total 9 Hons papers.

New Format
for BBA Hons of Calcutta University
Semester wise 3 years BBA Hons will be amended to Choice Based Credit System (CBCS), 2018. 20% marks of each 100 marks paper will adopted from internal assessments held in the colleges.
This notification will be applicable from Academic Year 2018-19 vide Notification No. CSR/07/18
